The Kalamalka Weavers and Spinners Guild

The Kalamalka Weavers and Spinners Guild was formed in 1972 and has enjoyed a variety of changes in both membership and leadership during the years. Our goal is always to promote weaving, spinning, knitting, felting, etc and encourage new membership. We are pleased to demonstrate our skills at exhibitions and craft shows. We hold Workshops with professional fibre artists plus mini workshops and provide information on beginners classes and ongoing learning projects to anyone who may be interested. We have an extensive library, a good selection of equipment available for rent by our members.

We meet at the Vernon Community Arts Centre, 2704 Highway 6, (Polson Park)Vernon, BC. every third Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm  except for July and August. In December a member hosts our Christmas Party at her home. We also hold a Fibre Arts Day once a month to focus on weaving patterns and techniques and spinning techniques plus other related fibre arts topics.

Our annual fee is $35.00 due at our AGM in June.
