Palouse Hills Weavers

The Palouse Hills Weavers Guild is composed of people from Moscow, ID, Pullman, WA, and the surrounding region who are interested in fiber related crafts including weaving, spinning, dyeing, felting, and beading.

Activities of the guild include monthly meetings with programs about various aspects of these crafts, study groups, displays, demonstrations of handweaving and spinning at various regional venues, participation in the Palouse Empire and Latah County fairs, workshops, and an annual weekend retreat.  The guild maintains a library and equipment for use by members.

The guild is affiliated with the Handweavers Guild of America and the Northwest Association of Weavers Guilds.  Through these organizations, members have the opportunity to attend national and regional conferences.

Co-presidents for the 2010/2011 year are Helen Bobisud and Cynthia Whittlesey.

Meetings are held monthly from September to May generally on the 4th Monday of the month at
7 PM.  The location alternates between Pullman (Concordia Lutheran Church) and Moscow (USDA Pea and Lentil Commission).  Visitors are welcome.  Membership is by payment of annual dues ($25).
