The purpose of the Guild is to educate our membership and the public in the Fiber Arts through workshops, study groups, guest speakers, participation in the San Juan County Fair, the Sheep-to-Shawl competition, textile shows, and demonstrations.

Our members come from the five islands of the north Puget Sound area: Waldron, Lopez, Orcas, San Juan and Shaw.

General meetings are held three times a year, on the fourth Saturday of January, April and October. Newsletters are published prior to each meeting and provides details regarding time, place, and program for the meeting. The deadline for newsletter inclusion is the 15th of the month prior to the meeting.

Membership dues are $20 per calendar year and are sent to the Membership Chairperson.
