Spokane Handweavers Guild

www.spokaneweavers.org

The Spokane Handweavers' Guild is a non-profit membership organization for handweavers, spinners, basketmakers, and related fiber artists. The guild holds membership in the Association of Northwest Weavers' Guilds and the Handweavers' Guild of America. We have over 60 members, drawn from the area around Spokane and Coeur d'Alene, Washington. Visitors are welcome!

The Spokane Handweavers' Guild has much to offer its members, including:

Monthly Meetings: The second Tuesday of each month from September to June @ 6 pm. We meet at the Orchard Crest Retirement community, top floor meeting room at 222 S. Evergreen, Spokane Valley.

Study Groups: these small groups focus on areas of interest to members.
Exhibits and Demonstrations are sponsored by the guild at various times to promote weaving and to educate the community. Look for us at the Spokane Farmers' Market and at the Spokane Highland Games.

Library: books and periodicals are available for loan to members.
Workshops: two or more workshops are sponsored by the guild to educate members in a variety of techniques and subjects regarding the fiber arts.
