Stella Johnny is an avid weaver of Cedar Bark, Pine Needle, Coast Salish Weaving and loves to work with beads in various styles of beading (22 yrs). She is of the Coast Salish Peoples of the Hulquiminum Area of Vancouver Island of the Cowichan Tribes. She is willing to travel to teach her art work to those who are willing to learn.

Workshops & Classes

Beginner classes can start at a 2 hour class, and gradually build skills to six hour projects and to work toward a weekend workshop completing projects that include baskets completed in various weaving styles and various endings. Working from a plain basket to an intricate design. Minimum class of 6-8 along with accommodation and travel expenses will bring me to your area.  A maximum of 12 will have me for a whole weekend with all expenses paid.  Please contact me for prices, which are competitive and bring excellent teaching instructor.
