I teach handspinning to intermediate
and advanced spinners. I travel usually twice a year
to teach. In the fall, if Northwest guilds wanted
a class, they would be towards the beginning of my
tour in mid-October. I also go out in either Feb-March
or April, depending on the preference of the guilds
who contact me.
Workshops
-
Comprehensive class
that is a fiber survey and deals with wheel mechanics,
fiber prep, and spinning techniques I teach a
-
Silk class that
covers all fiber types, reeling, making hankies,
and silk paper if it is a 3-day class
-
Novelties, wool combing,
charkha, spinning to specification (covers
wraps per inch and twist per inch and angle in a
simple way).
