My special interest lies in reviewing spinning techniques so that students have a better understanding of how their spinning styles affect the character of their yarns.  This knowledge allows students to spin simple and complex yarns with greater confidence and skill.
I am unavailable for workshops from Nov. 1st  to April 30th due to farm and family commitments, but I can be available during the rest of the year as long as I receive sufficient notice.

Workshops
Spinning Tune-up:
The workshop includes a review of spinning techniques to show how each technique affects yarn characteristics, and gives an understanding of how to spin consistent yarns using a variety of long and short drafting styles.

Cabled Yarns:
The workshop gives a tune-up of spinning skills and shows how to create a variety of yarns through cabling.  Yarns will have unique cabled effects through the mixing of fibers, colours, and woollen and worsted yarns of varied diameters.
