Sylvia White makes free-form contemporary baskets
from recycled industrial materials. Her most recent
work encompasses a variety of metal sheets and wire,
plastic tapes, and paper in its various forms. She
has been making baskets for over thirty years and
has exhibited work extensively and taught basket techniques
in Washington and California.
